The Biography of Lionel Messi

Lionel Messi was noticed as one of the most talented player in the history of football. He was born Louis Lionel Andreas Messi on June 24, 1987, in Rosario, Argentina. His father’s name is Jorge Horacio Messi, and worked in the a factory steel. And his mother’s name is Celia Maria C. who worked as the part time cleaner.

In 1995, he was joined in the youth system of Newell’s Old Boys a Rosario - based club. But in 1998, when his age was 11 years old, he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency (GHD). This was a condition that stunted growth and required expensive medical treatment. Including the use of the drug Human growth hormone.

Local club, River Plate was interested in signing Messi, but didn’t want to pay for his medical treatment. However, Messi was given a trial with Barcelona and coach Carles Rexach was impressed-offering Messi a contract. And then, he moved out Spain and joined FC Barcelona’s Youth Academy, La Masia.

Report Text : What is a Tornado?

         Tornadoes are known as one of the most damaging dosasters. What is the description of tornadoes? A tornado is a very powerful column of winds which spirials around a center of low atmospheric pressure. A tornado will look like a large black funnel which down from a strom cloud.

         The name “Tornado” derives from the Latin “tonare”. It means “to thunder”. While the Spanish developed the word into “tornear” which means “to turn or twist”. This is why a tornado is sometimes called twister or cyclone.

         The winds inside a twister can spin around at speeds up to 500 miles an hour, but usually travels at roughly 300 miles an hour. This speed twisting makes a tornado the most dangerous storm.

         The avarage tornado has a diameter of about 200 to 300 yards. The smaller tornadoes are known as satelite tornadoes. These small offspring, about 50 yards across, can be very fierce and do lots of damage.

         The forming of tornado can be very quick. Sometimes it can form in a minutes or less. A tornado can travel across the ground at high sppeds, then it can suddenly vanish. Most tornadoes last less than twenty minutes and travel less than 15 miles. However, the super stroms sometimes travel over 100 miles before they are exhaused.

          Chimpanzees use a system of different sounds to communicate with each other. One type of cry seems to mean something like “danger in the air or “big birds” and another apparently means “danger on the ground” or “snakes”. The first cry causes them to hide in holes or under trees and look up at the sky. When they hear the second cry, the hide in the upper branches of trees and stares nervously at the grass. Chimpanzees are capable of learning sign language. One Chip called Washoe learned to make about 160 seperate signs meaning things like “give me a drink” and “banana”.

        Washoe even learned to swear. She had a teacher called Jack who once refused to give her a drink. Washoe got angry and used several signs which mean “dirty Jack”.
